JAMES DING TSE WEN

James has extensive experience in construction, engineering and infrastructure dispute resolution with a keen interest in corporate and commercial litigation. He has advised clients in major construction and building projects in Malaysia and represented parties in adjudication, arbitration and appearing as counsel at both the High Court and Court of Appeal.

He speaks regularly in seminars and conferences on areas involving construction law, adjudication and arbitration.

ANGELINE LEE

Partner

Angeline was heavily involved in alternative dispute resolution since 2005 and prior to joining the Firm, was a member of the dispute resolution practice group of the largest law firm in Malaysia. She has acted in various arbitrations, both institutional and ad hoc, covering a wide range of disputes including IT services and construction related issues. She has also acted in Malaysian court proceeding relating to the supervisory regulation of arbitrations including stays of court proceedings, interim relief in aid of arbitrations and the enforcement/challenge of arbitral awards.

Her focus nowadays includes general conveyance and advisory work in real estate transactions, acquisition and divestment of properties, corporate and consumer loans, advising on issue in relation to property matters, advising on property development projects, leases and tenancies and inheritance and trust and settlements.

CAITLIN YONG

Partner

Caitlin focuses in real estate and banking matters and is one of the Firm’s conveyancing partners. She has been involved in complex negotiation and preparation of legal documents for sale and purchase of various types of real properties, including those for sub-sales of real properties in the second-hand market, commercial, residential and mixed development property development projects from several prominent property developers in Malaysia.

For banking matters, she has handled the preparation and management of all types of loan documentation and power of attorney for both Conventional and Islamic loans having covered various Conventional and Islamic banks including without limitation to Public Bank, RHB Bank, Maybank, Hong Leong Bank, Bank of Islam, MBSB bank, CIMB Bank, Ambank, UOB Bank, Alliance Bank, Standard Chartered Bank as well as the Malaysian Government’s Public Sector Housing Financing Board (LPPSA)

Dom Silang has been in the legal practice in Sarawak since 2001. Earlier in his legal career He handles banking and civil litigation and specializes legal documentation in respect of sale and purchase of land and property, financing and banking documentation, development of lands (including Native Area Lands), commercial tenancy/sub-lease. Further, he has advised on matters relating to acquisitions of land by the State of Sarawak pursuant to sections 47 or 48 of the Sarawak Land Code (Cap. 81)
